COOKIE TYPE FILES

We use the so-called cookies to make your browsing more enjoyable, to allow you to use certain functions, to display searched products or for market research. Cookies do not contain software programmes, viruses or spyware and they cannot access information on the user’s hard drive. Data stored by cookie type files never display personal information by which a person can be individually identified. Some of these files are automatically deleted when the browsing session ends (session cookies). Others are stored on your terminal in order to allow us to recognize you when you next browse our website (persistent cookies). Storage duration can be found in the Cookie settings menu of your Internet browser. You can set up your browser to inform you about cookie settings so that you can decide case by case whether you accept them or not – in certain situations or in general.

NECCESARRY COOKIES (TECHNICAL COOKIES)

These cookies are compulsory in order for a website to function. They are those cookies that allow for the recognition of a user who visits the site in a singular session, or, if necessary, through multiple session. This type of cookies can remember, for example, the elements that you previously added to a shopping cart when you visited an online shop, therefore allowing you to make an online payment. Consequently, these technical cookies allow us to offer you content that is adapted to your interests. Without these cookies, this site would not work correctly.

PERFORMANCE COOKIES (ANALYTICAL COOKIES)

Information that is collected with the help of cookies is used exclusively by us. Performance cookies collect anonymous data about the way in which visitors use the website and its functionalities. For example, our performance cookies collect information about the website sections that you visit most and about our ads that are displayed on other sites that you visit. The collected information can be used in order to personalise your online experience. Performance cookies do not collect personal information. Please see the last section of this policy in order to eliminate or manage performance cookies.

FUNCTIONAL COOKIES

These cookies are used to memorise certain options that you choose on a site (language preferences, country or other options) and to deliver personalised or optimised functionalities chosen by users. Functional cookies can be used to avoid being offered online services that the user refused before. Therefore, using functional cookies allows us to offer you content that is adapted to your interests. By continuing to browse our website, you are accepting the use of functional cookies.

THIRD PARTY COOKIES

These are cookies established by our third-party suppliers of various services (for example analytics or website publicity)

SOCIAL MEDIA COOKIES

Vorwerk is not responsible for the insertion of third-party cookies on the users’ computers by means of social media networks accessed by users. These cookies allow the identification of the user, especially when the functionality allows for the user’s permission to be asked and given in regards to content or posting an opinion.

Our site integrates several social media networks (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram) – the so-called social media plugins which specifically allow the user to recommend the content that they visualise. When the user accesses a page that contains one of these plugins, the browser establishes a direct connection with the server of said social media network. The content of the plugin will consequently be directed by the said social media network to the user’s browser and integrated in the webpage.
